  • Get set for second Colour Blast!

    Ollie Cowan

THOUSANDS of runners are set to make their way through clouds of powdered paint when the Galloway’s Southport Colour Blast returns to Princes Park for a second year.

The event, which will raise money for Galloway’s, Southport’s local sight loss charity, will take place on Sunday, July 9.

Last year’s event raised £10,000, with over 400 participants, helping Galloway’s to provide vital practical and emotional support to those living with sight loss in the local community.

Anna Eddowes-Scott, from Galloway’s, said: “We’re so excited to see the Southport Colour Blast returning this summer.

“Our first ever Colour Blast last year proved to be really popular and the buzz surrounding the event afterwards was amazing!”

“You can run, walk, skip, hop or dance the 5k route.
