    Henry James

DIRECT from the West End, Chris Connor stars in a new Elvis production, never seen before in the UK, and coming to the Southport Theatre this Friday (November 17) at 7.30pm.

The night is called the World Famous Elvis Show and features the live energetic band The Steels who recreate two huge concerts from the Elvis eras.

This show aims to respectively and authentically recreate Elvis at his very best.

There is only one Elvis Presley, however fans are talking about Chris Connor and have described him as very close to Elvis in both looks and voice and mannerisms.

The Elvis Show includes a 13 piece band, with backing vocals by The Sweet Harmonies.

This is a two hour night with Live screening and video projection throughout, lights and sound.

Chris Connor’s manager, Lisa Matthews said: “Chris has built a huge following all around the world.

“He is shy and very humble off stage, however on stage he transforms into Elvis, it can be at times very spooky. Chris makes sure that his tribute is respectful at all times, and as authentic as possible.

“We have audience members in tears and in shock during and after the shows. They can't believe the very close likeness in looks, voice, mannerisms and moves between Chris and Elvis.

“Chris has worked very hard to become a world leading Elvis Performer, and he is very grateful for the continued support he receives from all fans. He does not care for Elvis contests or self acclaimed titles, his main concern is to put on a show the fans will appreciate with no expense sparred.”
