Couple aim to raise funds for sanctuary
by Guest

A HUSBAND and wife from Formby are to put themselves through a gruelling 200m bike ride for charity.

Carrie and Mike Roberts are cycling from Formby to Whitely Bay with their two terriers Russell and Lily to raise money for Freshfield Animal Sanctuary.

The pair said they are keeping their fingers - and paws crossed for nice weather from May 3-11 when the ride takes place.

You can sponsor them by visiting www.freshfieldsrescue.org.uk, or send a cheque marked for Jane Young's attention direct to the rescue or drop into the shop at 37 Queens Road, Formby.
