New sewing club will have you in stitches!
by Natasha Young

A NEW fortnightly sewing club will kick off in Churchtown this month.

Starting on September 27, the group will meet at Marshside Methodist Church on Tuesday evenings every two weeks.

Sessions, held from 7-9pm, will welcome people of all abilities to share their dressmaking and soft furnishing skills and learn from others.

Participants can also try sewing by machine.

Admission is £5 per session to cover the hiring costs of the hall and refreshments.

Visitors can just turn up, and are asked to bring along any chosen garments plus buttons, threads, trims or fabric they like.

For further information, please contact Janet after 7pm on 01704 220728.
