Schools receive a cash boost as Co-operative store celebrates its re-opening
by Natasha Young

TWO Southport schools received £250 donations, thanks to Marshside's Co-operative Food store.

Pupils from Marshside Primary School and Larkfield Primary School helped to re-open the revamped supermarket on Fylde Road, as the schools were given a boost to their funds, and were also joined by town crier Barry McQueen.

Robbie Johnson, the store's manager, said: “The Co-operative is committed to playing a real role in the life of the Marshside community and it is fantastic that our local schools could join us on our special day.
