CREATIVE types from across West Lancashire are being urged to get involved with Up Holland Library's first Live Literature and open mic event.

The event, being held on Monday, June 25, will give residents the chance to listen to poetry, short stories and scripts or to share their own creative writing.

The show, which takes place between 6.30pm and 9pm, will also feature guest performances from the North West Olympic Poet and ‘Norman and Jenny' comedy scriptwriting duo from the Words Literature Festival.

Admission. For more information call 01695 622 368 or send an email at upholland.library@lancashire.gov
