One of folk scene's 'nicest' guys is coming to borough

THE folk singer, songwriter and guitar player Anthony John Clarke is to perform at Parbold Village Hall on Saturday, November 22.

Irish born, but living in Scotland, Clarke is often described as ‘one of the folk scene’s nicest guys’.

He has devoted fans from across the world, all avid followers of his skills as a singer-songwriter. He is known for his insightful and humorous style of folk music, which highlights his unique take on life.

Audiences have loved his funny, witty and poignant lyrics, and his catchy melodies stay with the listener long after the music have ended.

Clarke has been described as a fantastic guitar player and his performances are praised for their artistry and the warm-hearted and intimate atmosphere he creates. He has played in clubs and festivals across the UK, Europe, Australasia and the USA, and his many recordings delight listeners of all ages and nationalities.
