Half term cycling events
by Tom Martin

THE October half-term sees the return of the popular ‘Ditch Those Stabilisers' cycling events.

Children aged four and above can learn to ride a bike unaided at sessions in Litherland and Ainsdale.

The events have a very high success rate and staff from Sefton Council's Travel Awareness and Safety Team offer a range of practical advice to children and their parents.

Sessions are free but pre-booking is essential.

The first takes place on Tuesday, October 27, between 2pm-4pm at Litherland Sports Park.

The second is being held on Thursday, October 29, between 10am-12pm, at Shoreside Primary School, in Ainsdale.
