Description: Vacancy for PART TIME CLERK If you are interested in a flexible, part time role of 16-20 hours per week, based from home – this might suit you! The position is for 16-20 hours per week, with a salary starting at £12.00 per hour and based on NALC guidelines relating to experience and qualifications.
 
 
 
 
 
Requirements: We are looking for someone who is community focused and has strong administrative skills. Applicants should have good communication skills as well as being confident in Excel, Word and email. This is a responsible role as the Clerk runs all the Parish Council’s functions including keeping books and records as responsible financial officer and will be expected to advise and guide the Council. Whilst applicants should preferably have a local government background, applicants from any sector are welcome to apply. A Certificate in Local Council Administration or a willingness to undertake training provided for this qualification is preferred.
