Former marine signs in for new tell-all book of his battle to beat bomb blast horror
A FORMER Royal Marine from Bootle has been signing copies of his new autobiography at Crosby Village.
Andy Grant, 29, was at Pritchard's Bookshop to help promote 'You'll Never Walk' which reveals the traumatic experience of losing his leg after a horrific bomb blast in Afghanistan in 2009 to his remarkable achievements in recent years.
The highs and lows in the book detail Andy’s battle to physically recover from his injuries, to his determination and fight back and to become a world record holder in 2016 when he became the fastest 'below-the-knee amputee' to run a 10,000 race.
It has been endorsed by a number of famous faces from Liverpool, including Jamie Carragher, Robbie Fowler, John Bishop and Reds captain Jordan Henderson.
