Housing plans submitted for Thomas More site
by Natasha Young

A PLANNING application to build 96 new two and three storey homes on the site of Ainsdale's st Thomas More Centre, has now been submitted to Sefton Council.

Plans for the development also include the layout of open space, landscaping and other associated works after demolition of the existing buildings.

Local Conservative councillors, Brenda Porter and Terry Jones said that following a site consultation at Sacred Heart Church Hall, they have been advised that all issues raised over the development have been looked at by the council's planning department and taken into consideration.

Cllr Porter added: “Facilities for viewing the plans will, as agreed, be made available in Ainsdale.”
