Gardens are opened up to public

FOUR glorious gardens which are usually kept behind closed doors will be opened up for members of the public to see later this month.

As part of the National Gardens Scheme (NGS) the owners of four beautifully-maintained private gardens in Birkdale will be opened up for anyone to see between 10.30am and 5.30pm on Sunday, May 29.

Admission to see the gardens, at 22 Ashton Road, 22 Hartley Crescent, 10 Meadow Avenue and 14 Saxon Road, will cost £4 for adults and is free for children.
