Still time to sign up for walk
by Natasha Young

THERE is still time to sign up for Freshfields Leonard Cheshire Disability (LCD) Home's fundraising eight-mile walk.

The July 29 sponsored trek, which will go from Southport to Freshfield, will help fund special equipment for a much needed sensory room at the LCD home.

The walk is expected to take two to three hours as participants travel from the Waterside Lodge Activity Centre on Marine Drive to Freshfields Leonard Cheshire Disability Home on College Path.

Those who take part will receive a certificate and an LCD goody bag from the Mayor and Mayoress of Sefton, councillors Kevin and Linda Cluskey.
