Drills stolen in Aughton burglary

HUNDREDS of pounds worth of drills have been taken from a home in Aughton during a burglary, police have said this week.

Lancashire Constabulary confirmed they were investigating the theft of several drills, worth a total of £830, from a property on Sandfield Park.

During the incident, believed to have taken place between 6pm on Sunday, January 27 and 8am the following morning, the raiders targeted a shed at the rear of the property where the drills were kept.
