Two women injured in car crash

TWO women were injured a car crash in Crosby at 3pm on Sunday, April 6.

Two cars collided on Halsall Close, a cul-de-sac linked to De Villiers Avenue.

Firefighters used cutting gear to free a 20-year-old woman driver from a vehicle.

She was taken to University Hospital Aintree but her injuries are not thought to be serious.

The other car contained three people and none sustained serious injuries.

A fire appliance from Crosby Community Fire Station and the Search and Rescue Team attended the call-out along with the Incident Management Team.
