Formby High School student to battle it out for table tennis title |

A FORMBY student will be battling it out against hundreds of competitors after he made it to the final of a national table tennis competition.
Stefan Schober Thomson, who attends Formby High School, will be taking part in the 2015 Butterfly Schools All England Individual Table Tennis Championships National Finals.
The 15 year old made it to the final after qualifying as the Merseyside champion, having won his title back in February 2015.
The national finals will take place at the Tipton Sports Academy, Birmingham on April 25, and Stefan will have to beat competitors from Bedfordshire, Durham, Hampshire, London and Norfolk to be crowned overall winner.
The competition is the largest one day event in the table tennis calendar in England, and is open to all regional winners, from across 46 counties.
