Frozen characters open nursery classroom
by Tom Martin

POPULAR children's characters from hit film Frozen appeared at Sand Dunes Nursery School to help unveil new classrooms.

Elsa and Anna, who are much-loved by youngsters in the 2013 movie, were tasked with cutting the ribbon at the Seaforth nursery to officially open two new rooms specially designed for two-year-olds.

The unveiling of the facility was on the same day as the nursery celebrated its annual Christmas Fayre, where children also got a chance to meet Father Christmas in his grotto.

Sand Dunes Nursery School is maintained by Sefton Council Children's services with places for children aged up to four.

It was formed back in the 1940s and relocated in 2008 to allow it to provide on site child-care and education.
