Charity shop reveal raffle winners |

MARIE Curie charity shop in Formby have announced the winners of their recent raffle, which was organised in partnership with The Flower Studio.
Due to an overwhelming response to their Glam and Glitz week in November, Formby Marie Curie issued an appeal for people to donate any unwanted clothes and help re-stock the shop.
In a bid to encourage more people to donate to the store, Marie Curie teamed up with The flower Studio in Derbyshire's to offer customers the chance of winning a Christmas bouquet for everyone who donates a bag of clothes.
Jacqueline Littler from Formby won the first prize.
She said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to have won, as I’ve never won anything like this before.
”The bouquet is gorgeous and I was so pleased that I called in to the shop to thank them personally.“
Ian O’Brien, also from Formby won the second prize which was donated by Derbyshire’s.
Marie Curie shop manager Vicky Hall said: ”The raffle was a tremendous success, everyone who brought an item or bag of donations in to us received a raffle ticket.
“We’ve had hundreds of items and would like to thank everyone who donated.
”We’d also like to thank Radio and TV presenter Debi Jones who helped us by featuring Marie Curie on her recent show on Sandgrounder Radio in Southport.“
