TWO people were stabbed at an address on Arbour Street, Southport when a gang of four masked men broke in to the building.
Merseyside Police officers attended the property shortly after 8.30pm on Thursday, February 13.
A 24-year-old woman was stabbed in the arm and a 26-year-old man was stabbed in the face. Both were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries.
One of their attackers is described as white, approximately 18 years of age, 5ft 6in tall and of slim build. All four males had their faces covered.
An investigation is underway and house-to-house, CCTV and forensic enquiries have been carried out in the area.
Detective Chief Inspector Gayle Rooney said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area of Arbour Street area at the time of the incident who saw anyone or anything suspicious to contact us.
“I would also appeal to anyone who was driving around the area to check their dash-cam as they may captured something significant.”
