A RUNNER from Skelmersdale has completed 10km each day across May to raise money for charity.
The challenge saw Michael Dudley, 22, complete a total of 310km after running 10km for each of the 31 days in the month of May.
He has raised £738 which will be donated to the Samaritans charity.
His proud sister, Jade, told the Champion: “Michael is a keen runner, who has previously only taken on organised 10k runs at Aintree Racecourse and so to go from that to running 10km every day around Skelmersdale is incredible.
“He has had a lot of local support and has been spotted by numerous residents on his run, who have followed his journey from a distance.
“He has raised £738 for Samaritans, a charity close to Michael's heart and who he felt needed support especially during the coronavirus pandemic.”
