CHILDREN who have been attending school during lockdown have created their own special gift for a local care home.

Pupils from St Thomas the Martyr Primary School, in Up Holland, have made some stunning pieces of artwork for the staff and residents of Alma Green Care Home.

One particular artwork, which features a colourful heart with the words ‘may all that we do be done with love’ has been displayed in the care home.

Carl Roscoe, the headteacher of the primary school, said: “The children who have still been attending St Thomas the Martyr CE Primary in Up Holland during the lockdown created some great pieces of art work in support of our NHS key workers and the amazing staff and residents of our local care home.

“The Alma Green Residential staff and residents have displayed one of the pieces.”
