A gas cylinder supplier to ambulance services and health clinics is upgrading its technology to improve delivery processes.
Skelmersdale-based specialist software and consultancy firm CoreRFID is upgrading Flogas’ application software and mobile devices, which will make the interface more user-friendly for delivery personnel.
The project is the latest in a series of improvements made over 10 years by CoreRFID.
They established a system which uses RFID tags and application software to identify each cylinder.
This enables Flogas to track cylinders and ensure validation is correct in terms of batch references and gas content details, which improves replenishment processes.
Head of Flogas Medical Gas Steve Gullick said: “CoreRFID takes the time to understand the way our business operates and how we can develop current systems. It’s a collaborative approach which has delivered great improvements in our processes, customer service and efficiency over the years.”
