Laura and partner Iain, who is the voice of the ITV show, and a big Liverpool FC supporter, were later spotted in a nearby bar on South Road.
The pair seemed to be pleased with their trip to Crosby, although she described the Iron Men statues as looking a “bit creepy!”
She posted on Instagram: “As someone who spends a lot of their life travelling around, it feels strange that I haven’t been on a plane since I flew back from the Love Island final in South Africa in February.
“I’ve recently loved finding escapes closer to home. Another Place is a piece of modern sculpture by Sir Antony Gormley located at Crosby beach. It consists of 100 cast iron figures facing towards the sea. Very cool... if a bit creepy. Imagine walking down the beach after a few drinks at night and spotting these lads!”
