Marine team up with a local entrepreneur

A CROSBY entrepreneur has become the first to sign up for a new membership club set-up by Marine FC.

Chris Speed created SimBin Studios UK in 2014, which is a video game developer that creates realistic championship experiences for the motorsport series. SimBin Studios UK was founded by Chris in Sweden and is now based in Liverpool city centre.

The company is supporting the Mariners by agreeing to become the first member of the newly formed Executive Club. Executive Club members become part of the Crosby club and can immerse themselves into everything corporate at Marine, enjoy community link benefits and PR and also look to work with them to help increase their business.

James Leary, Marine chief executive, said: “From the conversations with Chris he has an affinity with Marine and has a real desire to help us progress as a football club on and off the field. I will be working with him closely over the years ahead to help us all achieve our vision.

“He also has a real affinity for Crosby and supporting the community and returns often to see his family.”

Chris, CEO of Sector3 Studios, founder and director of SimBin Studios UK said: “After hearing about the opportunity of supporting Marine FC, it was a no-brainer. James’s vision for the club is something I want to fully support in whatever capacity that might be.

“I look forward to contributing to the success of Marine Football Club as a business but more importantly adding value to the group.

“Exciting times ahead for us all.”
