WORK to resurface Maghull Square car park has begun at last – after it was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The work, which was due to be take place from March to September, is now underway.

Simon Etough, area manager for London and Cambridge Properties, who manage the Maghull shopping centre for Grainrent Ltd said: “We had to postpone resurfacing of the car park as it was due to start late March. We now feel the climate has cleared enough to allow us to get back on with this and we have a window of opportunity to start w/c 7th September, for approx. five weeks.

“We don’t wish to delay any longer as this would then fall within the November/December Christmas Trade period.”
