Police continue appeal after £70k jewellery raid

POLICE are continuing to appeal for information after a smash and grab robbery at a jewellers in Ormskirk, when the store owner was threatened with an angle grinder by a man who stole £70,000 worth of items

The incident happened at David Moss Jewellers in Moorgate at around 4.30pm on Friday, September 25.

Around £20,000 worth of stolen items were dropped at the scene and returned by members of the public.

No arrest has been made but enquiries are ongoing to identify the robber.

Detectives are asking any jewellers or pawn shop owners to get in contact if they are offered any of the items pictured.
