A NATIVITY featuring shepherds, angels, wise men and a real-life camel is returning to Crosby beach after a 16 year absence!
Annie Spiers of the group In Another Place, which is staging the show, said: “Crosby beach and the Iron Men was the scene of our first Nativity 16 years ago - and after the unsettling events of recent times we decided it was the perfect place to return to.
“This show is a different kind of Nativity, written from the angels’ perspective.
“The story will unfold with a mass choir, dancers, and local actors, all of it set against the iconic Iron Men.
“To top it all there will be a real camel accompanying the wise men.
“We’re hoping the Crosby Nativity offers a unique opportunity for a memorable Christmas outing suitable for all ages.”
There will be two performances each evening on Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4 - a sunset show at 4pm, and a night sky version at 6pm - at Hall Road, Blundellsands, overlooking Crosby beach and Another Place.
