YOUNGSTERS became bakers for the day during a trip to The Dutch Bakery in Birkdale.
The children - all 120 of them - from Farnborough Road Junior school, had made their own biscuits previously during a food lesson and then enjoyed the trip to see how the professionals do it!
A spokesperson for the school said: “We value giving the children a balanced and varied curriculum and are fortunate to have local businesses like The Dutch Bakery provide such valuable experiences.
“Not to mention the delicious shortbread the children made and devoured later on!”
