Beatles tribute act become youngest band to get a residency at the Cavern

by Tom Martin (August 2022)

A YOUNG Beatles tribute act with two members from Crosby are making waves in the music scene and are already performing regularly at the famous Cavern Club in Liverpool.

Beatles Complete is the youngest band ever to get a residency at the famous venue and are slowly becoming one the region’s stand-out tribute acts for the Fab Four.

The band is made up of Joe Patrick, 15, and Max Robinson, 18, both from Crosby, and also George Baldwin, 19, and Tom Marrow, 18, who are from Chorley.

Joe, who is the youngest member, is a former pupil of Sacred Heart Catholic College in Crosby and is the ‘Paul McCartney’ of Beatles Complete.

His dad, Graham, told the Champion: “Joe joined them about 12 months ago and is really enjoying it. They are doing well at the moment for such a young band.

“They are the youngest band to get a residency at the Cavern so that just shows how good they are.”

In 2021, Beatles Complete performed for the first time at the International Beatle Week Festival in Liverpool. They perform at the Cavern every Saturday afternoon and have quickly become a firm favourite with Beatles fans who pack the venue out every week.

The lads are also performing in the final two shows at the 2022 International Beatle Week Festival.

For anyone wishing to watch them perform closer to home, they will be at Crosby Comrades Club on Sunday, September 11.

Tickets are priced at £8 and £5 for under 18s and are available on www.ticketsource.co.uk/beatles-complete or from Encore in Crosby Village.
