ORMSKIRK’S Chapel Gallery will close for three months for an £80,000 refurbishment.
The cafe will be extended, new toilets and baby changing units added and disabled access improved to comply with the Disability Discrimination Act.
Refurbishment will start at the gallery on St Helens Road on Monday, January 14 and for health and safety reasons it will be closed to the public until April 19.
Services such as the Saturday Art Club, holiday activity programme and arts development service will still continue at various venues across the district, details of which are yet to be set. |
