Tarleton garden centre to host autism fundraiser
by David Simister

A FUNDRAISING event to help autistic children from across the region is being held at a garden centre in Tarleton.

Long Dyke Plants, based on Southport New Road, are hosting open days this Saturday (July 2, between 9am and 5.30pm) and Sunday (July 3, between 10am and 4.30pm).

Among the attractions will be bouncy castles, plant raffles and servings of tea and coffee, and 20% of all sales taken on the weekend will go to Southport-based Peterhouse School, which helps children with autism.
